- Kenwood FreeTalk TK3131 (Recreational/Business) radio is used by law enforcement and search and rescue as an extremely cost effective radio. You can choose ½ or 1 watt power and it has 2 banks of 15 channels. It is compatible with most GMRS/FRS models and has a range of 1.5 to 4 miles. It sells for $139
